Charges: N. B. Management / Coastal Vacations for Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practice. Lawsuit order served: Cease-and-Desist served during the Coastal Vacations
"training seminar" at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Florida Status of Lawsuit: currently effective. Warning: Possible $10,000 fine for each violation of selling may be extended

In 1996 an article was written in a magazine called the "MLM Insider". The article was about the Alabama Attorney General hitting (Coastal Vacations). Then they moved to Florida, where they now have been served a lawsuit for Unfair And Deceptive Trade Practice.
State authorities said they have filed a lawsuit! Cease-and-desist order against NB Management owner Al Romine! NB Management is the shipping center for Coastal Vacations.
The owner of the Coastal Vacations shipping center is Al Romine. An inside source has said that Al Romine has hired a layer. The actions of Al Romine and his layer has been to ignore the lawsuit and the charges.
Coastal Vacations is still in violation of breaking the laws and is still operating illegally.
Coastal Vacations move to block the lawsuit was to put this little note on the bottom of the websites that they sell to you.
"Coastal Vacations is NOT a seller of Travel and therefore is not licensed to sell travel.
Coastal sells Travel and Travel Related Discount Packages that provide discounted access to many travel and travel related companies."
Putting this little note on the bottom of the website did not impress the State Officials that served the lawsuit.
Coastal Vacations has never complied with the laws
and has never been registered as a legal business!
It appears that Coastal Vacations is not going to take the necessary steps to become legal.
Coastal Vacations running and jumping from state to state
like it has done in the past, is not going to work this time.
Coastal Vacations is currently an unlicensed travel business and has an active lawsuit filled against it.
The State Officials are not dropping the charges and are activity perusing the lawsuit to take Coastal Vacations down!
Many complaints have been filed against N. B. Management through the Better Business Bureau.
The Central Florida Better Business Bureau has been sending out notices
about the ongoing complaints to N. B. Management.
According to the the Central Florida Better Business Bureau, N. B. Management has refused to respond to any of the complaints filed.
Now, there is more bad news for this vacation travel business opportunity!
It appears that Coastal Vacations / N. B. Management, has been operating illegally.
State authorities said they have filed a lawsuit. Department investigators said they served a cease-and-desist order against NB Management owner Al Romine while Al Romine was conducting a "training seminar" at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Florida.
Because of the continuous complaints and lawsuits many of the well known top earners and leaders have left.
Some Coastal Directors have been graceful and said, "I have retired from Coastal Vacations".
While others were more direct with a statement like, "I have found something better than Coastal Vacations".

TALLAHASSEE – Florida Agriculture and Consumer Services Commissioner
Charles H. Bronson today announced that he has taken legal action against an Arkansas company for violating Florida’s “Seller of Travel Act” law.
A lawsuit filed in Osceola County Circuit Court alleges that NB Management, LLC, which does business in Central Florida as Coastal Vacations, Coastal Club Vacations and Cross Country Vacations, failed to obtain a license to sell travel and post a surety bond.
In addition, investigators with Bronson’s Division of Consumer Services and Office of Agricultural Law Enforcement served an immediate final order on NB Management, LLC, and its owner Al Romine at a hotel resort in Kissimmee where the company was engaged in a seminar to sell prospective investors travel business plans and related services. This action ordered the company to cease and desist its activities involving the sale of travel or services related to the sale of travel.
The Department has received 67 consumer complaints against the company. In addition, the company is accused of failing, after notice, to provide information to the Department regarding the company’s activities within Florida. The company sells packages that allow individuals to start their own seller-of-travel business which includes travel packages. The company has failed to get licensed despite numerous attempts by the Department.
“This company has repeatedly ignored our efforts to get them to comply with the seller of travel law and has continued to sell travel services to Florida consumers,” Bronson said. “The message is that this activity will not be tolerated.”
The legal action seeks an injunction prohibiting NB Management, LLC, along with its other companies, from violating the unfair and deceptive trade practices statute and fines up to $10,000 for each of the violations involving unlicensed activities regarding the selling of travel.
Consumers who wish to file a complaint against the company can call the Department’s toll-free hotline at 1-800-HELPFLA (1-800-435-7352) or visit the Division of Consumer Services website at www.800helpfla.com.

I was seriously looking into Coastal Vacations. Trying to get answers about
Coastal Vacations, was not as easy as I thought it was going to be.
People selling it, make so many outrageous claims, you really have to be careful and sort through everything.
Stephanie Johnson and Al Romine do a nice job on the nightly calls. They make
Coastal Vacations sound like a real company. A company that is solid and pack with value.
After listening to several nightly Coastal Vacations training calls. Things did not sound just right.
The statement, ‘travel for pennies on the dollar’ sounded like a sales pitch.
They did not say how many pennies on the dollar. Maybe, you
travel for 98 pennies on the dollar. That would be no savings at all.
Also, Stephanie Johnson and the Board Directors on the nightly call, are a little evasive when asked about the restrictions, what you don’t get and what you have to pay extra for in the Travel Packages.
Being evasive, let me know the answers were not going to be good. If the restrictions and extra cost are too aggravating, inconvenient, or expensive, people would not buy the Vacations Packages. Tricky sales people would want to change the subject. I am not saying Stephanie Johnson and the Board of Directors are tricky sales people… and then again… I am not saying that they are not. It’s just odd that they have the same methods of tricky sales people.
And then there are the black out dates. You would think a real membership that cost $11,000 would have a little more priority than just getting you left over rooms (if there are any left over rooms), or off seasons rooms when the hurricanes are coming through, or when its too hot and you are the only one there.
That does not sound like a vacation. That’s getting the left over scraps… and you have to pay $11,000
to get the left over scraps at a discount price! Scraps are not worth much to start with.
What kind of a membership is that? Why would anyone pay $11,000 for a
membership that entitles you to request the left over scraps at a discount?
Why is Coastal Vacations not publicly traded? The reason that Coastal Vacations is not publicly traded is because Coastal Vacations has no stock to trade! Coastal Vacations has never been registered as a corporation or a company. Coastal Vacations doesn’t even have a business license. Yes… you read this correctly! Coastal Vacations does not even have a business license. Coastal Vacations / N. B. Management also does not have the security bond that is required by law to be involved in the travel industry.
Is Coastal Vacations a real membership?
What is it a membership to?
For many years people have been trying to find out what is the real structure of Coastal Vacations. To buy into the membership you can pay up to $11,000. That’s a lot of cash! What are you really getting for your $11,000?
Has Coastal Vacations ever purchased anything that can be sold for $11,000?
This is where the Coastal Vacations story gets funny! Coastal Vacations does not even have a bank account or phone number. Are you surprised? This is true. Coastal Vacations does not even have a bank account or a phone number. Coastal Vacations has no assets, NO address, NO security bond, or even a legal license to operate!
The Coastal Vacations Board of Directors have always tried to hide
the truth about what Coastal Vacations really is.
How does the Coastal Vacations structure work
when trying to use the complimentary discount coupon?
Your complimentary discount coupons in the Coastal Vacations Travel Package are provide by private vendors like Fun Time Vacations or Holiday Adventures and many other sources. These types of complimentary discount coupons can be obtained over the internet for FREE. You do not even need your Coastal Vacations membership or the Coastal Vacations Travel Package to use these FREE complimentary discount coupons.
When you pay $11,000 for your Coastal Vacations Level 3 Platinum Package.
Your getting about $200 in value and the balance of your $10,800 is going into someone else pocket as Big Fast Profit!
You may ask, "If over 95% is just mark-up profits... Where is the Value of being a Coastal Vacations member?"
Top earners and leaders are leaving Coastal Vacations!
Who are they... and where did they go?

I joined Coastal Vacations for their vacation package. I was interested in using their complimentary cruises and complimentary vacations as incentives for customers to purchase products/services from businesses. Their package also included internet shopping sprees, free gas cards, airline discounts, and capons for dining and groceries.

Just simply said DO NOT DO THIS. Every part of this is so a scam. I am trying to start a class action law suit on these people and this company. The guy who sold us ours lives in a Million dollar home and is a Preacher/Minister. Whatever.....
Michael Peterson is the one who sold us our package in Columbus, and I guess Al Romine is the Owner.
...The company's leadership -- especially Al Romine and Scot Chatron -- are, plain and simple, liars..
...I visited Kissimmee Florida. Their address is a UPS store mailbox. There is no company. The whole thing is a house of cards run by snake oil salesmen...
...I sent two of my reps to an official coastal vacations event and Scot Chatron lied in front of a roomful of people...
...I have just spent the last couple days calling all the contact numbers on the cards, and finding out (in writing from them) that these prices "are the same as the general public gets, and that company can be easily found on google." Why would we pay all this $$ to get these useless cards that are so highly advertised? The hotel access card gives us UP TO (we are told that we get 50%) 50% off the HIGHEST rack rate!! The regular rates are cheaper than 50% off the rack rate!! for the exact same room!
The cruise card is a joke. When I called the contact number, the man actually laughed at me when I told him that we are told that we get a reduced rate with this card! Once again, it is the same price as the general public.
The Roadside Assistance card is really sad!! The lady there told me (and emailed the same) that CV is for access only. That means "no reduced prices-they will just give us the phone number in the area we are in, for what we want. We pay full price! Wow! that is such a help!!
